DOWNTOWN SENIOR CENTER Seniors Exploring the Cultural Arts (SECA) Friday, May 2nd @ 1:00pm: Monthly SECA meeting May activities for Front Row Center members start as soon as the Friday meeting is finished with a surprise event! The following events are planned for SECA members: Saturday, May 3rd @ 5:30pm: The Senior Prom St. Paul's Methodist Church will transform the church basement into a themed wonderland especially for seniors' enjoyment. Wednesday, May 14th @ 1:30pm: SENIOR LEGAL ADVISOR: Is a Trust Right for Me? Many people want to preserve their privacy and transfer their property without probate. A properly funded revocable trust will do both. The discussion will focus on the types of trusts and their purposes and the advantages/disadvantages of creating a trust. Robert M. Collins will present.

Friday, May 9th @ 9:00am - 11:30am: Wellness In the Park A fun and informative event for adults 55 and older. Participants will be active in balance and strength activities, Tai Chi, pickle ball, pressure point massaage. Healthy snacks will be served. Boxed lunches are available for $5.00.
Friday May 9th @ 10:00am: Music Makes You Feel Good Cindy Houston teaches music classes to active retirees in Wichita. Come join Cindy and her students for great entertainment and music education.

ORCHARD PARK SENIOR CENTER Pickle Ball: A Sport Sweet For Seniors Beginning Wednesday May 14th from 1:30pm to 3:30pm Athletic prowess and superior strength aren't necessary. Great speed isn't a must. Best of all, you can play with a lot of "relish". A combination of tennis and badminto, pickleball gained popularity on the West Coast where you will find some 45,000 players and 5,000 courts. It is quickly gaining the attention of Mid Westerners. Pickleball is easy to play and offers great aroebic activity. The softball sized balls have holes (hence pickles)so they don't travel as fast as other balls do. Call Donna at 942-2293 if you wish to give pickleball a try!
Tuesday, Math 13th @ 1:00pm: Tour the Wichita Water Center Most of us take water for granted. It is automatic for us to turn on the tap for a glass of water or enjoy a warm shower. Do you know what it takes to get that water to your house? Tour guide Kimberly Albers will help us better understand the significance of this treatment facility. We will learn how the local polluted groundwater is cleand, how pollution can affect health, and what can be done to prevent future pollution. The tour is FREE call 942-2293 if you wish to go.
